The Bakery Building is a 110-year-old four-story masonry building formerly used as a bakery for the area’s first supermarket in Central Square, Cambridge. The fabulous post and beam structure was restored and reinforced to modern standards. The exterior windows and brickwork were restored to NPS guidelines. The structure now provides 15,000-SF of tech offices. Many of the historic features, such as an elevator counter-weight cage and brick detailing, were retained.
