We’re excited to share that this year, 2023, the Pathmark, one of our new construction residential projects, will open in Davis Square. Conveniently located next to the tree-lined Alewife Linear Park bicycle and walking path, the Pathmark was designed with a focus on sustainability, one of our specialties at Peter Quinn Architects.

At the Pathmark, we transformed a parcel of vacant land—once occupied by a large automotive commercial building—into 34 residential units, ranging in size from a studio apartment to a three-bedroom duplex, all above one level of underground parking. Some units have private roof decks. All enjoy the benefits of being in a green building.

The Pathmark is also designed to be a part of the neighborhood visually. The building mass is broken up into separate forms, each having its own character and materials. There will also be a small, community-oriented retail component.

The Pathmark is projected to achieve LEED Platinum level and Energy Star certification. It will be both energy and water efficient; the parking garage features EV-charging stations; and the building features many other innovative strategies to exceed the community’s green building goals.
