We’re excited to share that this year, 2023, the Pathmark, one of our new construction residential projects, will open in Davis Square. Conveniently located next to the tree-lined Alewife Linear Park bicycle and walking path, the Pathmark was designed with a focus on sustainability, one of our specialties at Peter Quinn Architects.

In 2021, the Somerville Museum launched a capital campaign, “Access for All,” to modernize the old structure and improve the accessibility of the building. As the architects and interior designers on the project, we are proud to support the Museum’s mission and deliver on their goal of modernizing this beloved cultural institution.

Central Square, Cambridge, is rich with architectural history, parts of it still standing, like the Bakery Building at 269 Green Street. Since the building’s construction between 1891 and 1895, Central Square has developed into today’s Cultural District, home to an incredible variety of arts and cultural institutions, mom-and-pop shops, and new businesses in the life sciences.

Today, the Loën, one of the first multi-family Passive House buildings in Somerville, is in construction, with interior drywall installation about to begin. In a few months, though, it will be home to 24 residential dwelling units on four floor levels, ground floor retail and parking, and a common roof deck—a milestone for the city and for PQA.
